The True View of Suffering

As promised--here is the conversation following that last post.

"This is amazing in its impact! I want that unutterable trust in You, trust which never dreams that You will not stand by me. But I don't want to suffer to get it. And yet I am convinced that is how it comes.

And this was God's answer, "Tried faith is your personal possession. It's yours because you have tested it. There really is no suffering in it, because it wants to prove the reality--so there is confident waiting. Oh yes, your head will give you conflict, but with Us, the battle is not debilitating but liberating. You don't come through it missing limbs, but gaining heart, and that brings confidence in Us--and reality."
